WORKSHOPS, LEARNING Games & APPLICATIONS
Learning is most effective when people actively participate in the experience rather than passively consume information.
This section showcases custom applications, interactive activities, workshop games, simulations, and engagement tools designed to transform learning into action. Whether delivered through mobile apps, conference experiences, team competitions, scenario-based challenges, or interactive workshops, each solution is built with a specific performance objective in mind.
Games are not created simply to entertain, they are designed to reinforce concepts, encourage decision-making, create meaningful discussion, and improve knowledge retention through participation. Likewise, custom applications provide scalable solutions that support learning, communication, collaboration, and engagement beyond the classroom.
From large-scale conference competitions and team-building activities to digital applications and simulation-based learning experiences, these projects demonstrate how thoughtfully designed interactions can create memorable experiences that drive behavior change, reinforce key messages, and improve performance.
WORKSHOPS
The Build Transfer Challenge
Organizations frequently experience breakdowns when information is transferred between individuals, teams, or departments. Critical details may be omitted, assumptions can be made, and instructions may be interpreted differently than intended. The organization needed an engaging learning experience that would help participants recognize common communication barriers and understand the importance of providing clear, actionable information.
I developed a hands-on workshop in which participants constructed an object, documented the process, and transferred instructions to others who were tasked with recreating the original build. Through multiple rounds of communication and reconstruction, participants experienced firsthand how information can become distorted, incomplete, or misunderstood. Facilitated debrief discussions connected the activity to workplace scenarios involving documentation, training, process handoffs, project transitions, feedback, and cross-functional collaboration. Supporting materials included presentation slides, participant worksheets, facilitator guides, activity instructions, and reflection exercises designed to reinforce key learning points and encourage practical application in the workplace.
Navigating conflict
Conflict is a natural part of any workplace, yet many employees lack the tools and confidence to address disagreements constructively. Unresolved conflict can lead to strained relationships, reduced collaboration, lower productivity, and decreased employee engagement. The organization needed a practical learning experience that would help participants identify conflict triggers, navigate difficult conversations, and work toward positive outcomes while maintaining professional relationships.
I developed a facilitator-led workshop that combined self-reflection, group discussion, real-world scenarios, and interactive activities to explore the causes and impacts of workplace conflict. Participants learned techniques for active listening, emotional awareness, perspective-taking, and collaborative problem-solving while practicing strategies for addressing challenging situations. Facilitated debriefs connected workshop activities to everyday workplace interactions, helping learners build confidence in managing disagreements, improving communication, and strengthening professional relationships. Supporting materials included presentation slides, participant guides, facilitator resources, discussion activities, and job aids designed to reinforce learning beyond the classroom.
THE ESCAPE ROOM
Teams often struggle with communication breakdowns, assumptions, information silos, and ineffective collaboration when working under pressure. Traditional training approaches can explain these concepts but often fail to provide opportunities for participants to experience them firsthand. The organization needed an engaging and memorable workshop that would strengthen teamwork while reinforcing the importance of communication, active listening, critical thinking, and shared problem-solving.
I developed a facilitator-led escape room experience that required participants to work together to solve a series of interconnected puzzles within a structured timeframe. Teams were challenged to gather information, identify patterns, share observations, delegate responsibilities, and communicate effectively to progress through each stage of the activity. The workshop incorporated scenario-based challenges, team decision-making, and guided debrief discussions that connected participant behaviors to real workplace situations. Supporting materials included participant guides, facilitator resources, puzzle kits, activity instructions, room setup guides, and debrief tools designed to reinforce key lessons related to communication, collaboration, leadership, and team effectiveness.
THE ORANGE NEGOTIATION
Many employees approach negotiations as win-or-lose situations, often focusing on positions rather than underlying interests. The organization needed an engaging learning experience that would challenge participants to examine assumptions, improve communication techniques, and recognize opportunities for collaborative problem-solving that create value for all parties involved.
I developed a facilitator-led workshop that used the Orange Negotiation scenario as a practical learning exercise. Participants worked through a structured negotiation challenge, explored competing priorities, and reflected on decision-making behaviors throughout the activity. The workshop incorporated guided discussion, team collaboration, facilitated debriefs, and real-world application exercises to help learners connect negotiation principles to workplace communication, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration. Supporting materials included participant workbooks, facilitator guides, presentation materials, and activity handouts to create a consistent and engaging learning experience.
OTHER POWERPOINT EXAMPLES
A PowerPoint presentation is not the learning solution; it is a tool that supports the learning experience. The most effective presentations are designed around the facilitator, the audience, and the desired outcome. Some decks serve as executive briefings that simplify complex information into strategic insights. Others support instructor-led workshops, guiding discussions, activities, and learner interaction. Some presentations function as visual storytelling tools, while others act as structured facilitation guides for coaching, collaboration, and decision-making.
Every presentation in this collection was intentionally designed with its purpose in mind. Layouts, visuals, animations, activities, and content density vary based on the audience, environment, and learning objectives. A leadership presentation requires a different approach than a workshop activity, just as a conference keynote differs from a classroom discussion.
Rather than creating slides that simply display information, my focus is on designing presentations that help facilitators lead conversations, create engagement, reinforce key concepts, and drive meaningful outcomes. Whether supporting executive meetings, training workshops, town halls, conferences, onboarding programs, or team activities, each deck is built to serve as a practical tool that enhances the experience rather than becoming the experience itself.
